Simply great and has been for many years. I have never enjoyed better sushi in Germany, Switzerland or other countries and restaurants. Everything is freshly prepared to order. Quality lasts and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Thanks to Osamu and his team. Sasha.

After almost 2 hours I wanted to get my food what I had ordered by phone ... When I got there (after 2 hours) it was said that it would go well for another 20 minutes ... very badly organized ... a shame !!!

Very long waiting times! Ordered something over the phone and they said it would take 1.5 hours to pick it up. No sooner said than done, on site we had to wait another 30 minutes. Something like that is really cheeky when you have to wait 1.5 hours for your meal and then put off again for half an hour. Then canceled our order. That was my last time I ordered there

By far the best sushi in the Constance district. The dishes are incredibly delicious and the atmosphere in the restaurant is also right. It's a shame that the location is so small and that it is often difficult to get a seat. An absolute highlight for me every time!

Wonderful insider tip !!! From the outside really inconspicuous and a bit wicked and when you come in a really Japanese flair. The food is really recommended and an experience when you see how it is made! All in all fantastic!

Absolutely best sushi. Great ambience. Unfortunately this makes it a bit cramped and you sit very close to the next table. Picking up during the Covid period was problem-free. I look forward to the sushi every time I come from Nuremberg. We have nothing like it :)

Best Sushi I've ever tried, and I'm a Sushi fan

Take away only. Came yesterday and food was ready in 10mins and was good. Today, was told it takes 30mins to prepare the food, no way to speed it up. The worst part was the server asked me to give a time suggestion, I replied 10mins and she rudely laughed. Why ask if you don’t even want to try? Too bad then, I actually travelled an hour from Meersburg to eat with you. Huge disappointment.

Sushibar Tatsumi can easily be called the best sushi bar in Germany. You are first greeted by the Japanese oriental design of the place. The vibe is really nice. Lots of tiny details that shows great care. After thAt, you order. They have lots of varieties and lots of Japanese plates and drinks like Kirin. I ordered the Ramen, and I instantly felt like in a Naruto movie. I ordered the 2-person sushi plate with my GF. The first thing that you notice is that the plate has a well balanced variety. However, what really sets this place apart is the quantity. I rarely go to a sushi place, and find the amount overwhelming. The plate was more than enough, and it was super tasty. The only issue you might face is that, it is a bit hard to reserve a place, especially at the weekend. Book in advance. All in all, totally worth it. 10/10!

As someone who lived in Asia for more than 10 years and tried lots of Japanese restaurants, this is by far one of best and most authentic Japanese restaurants I have visited.

right now, this is the best sushi restaurant in konstanz. period. i just wish they had another branch in the old town, the location is a bit far out. maybe some day ...!?

It was a pleasure to eat at Sushibar Tatsumi. The food is excellent, the staff is very nice and helpful and the atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing. Definitely a good place to get some tasty food!

It is overrated. The sushi was average. The ambience is below average. The female waitresses are polite, but the male waiter is really a horrible. It took us 2 hours to get our food. Not recommended with kids. Really a terrible experience. The sushi is sweet, not how I expected it to be.

Ordered at 17:45, they told me to come earliest 20:00 to pick it up. When I arrived they told me to wait for another 15mins. Waited there for a full 60 mins with a few excuses inbetween. Sushi is really good though.

Thank you Google for leading us to this brilliant place. We highly enjoyed our dinner in a cozy and calm atmosphere. The Katsu curry had a notable mix between sweet and spicy. Next time we come for sushi!

Awsm place to eat :) Why just 3 stars then? Well i tried to do a reservation after 8 tries i got finaly through but because i was calling with a swiss number they just kicked me out of the phone call....

Best sushi in town.

We reserved for lunch and they did everything to not let us spend money. Except the very standard Lunch offer in variety and taste, everything we wanted to order from the menu the staff told us waiting time would be extremely long and that's a bad idea to order anything but the lunch menu. The place wasn't even packed ? Plus we showed up with a Baby trolley and immediately got the answer that inside it's not possible to get a table. So they got us a table on the terrace and this space looks like a junkyard and cars were driving in and out all the time right next to the table. And oh i almost forgot to talk about the sushi... There is not much to say cus we were just able to order the lunch menu and that was ok, our local sushi take away stall does it much better. One thing is great, the price was cheap, but to charge a lot for this would ended in a 1 Star rating. Maybe we picked a bad day, but this place is not even close to the reputation it has on all the online platforms or just no one knows about really god sushi ? staff is extremly unfriendly and stressed and we did not felt welcome at all, the opposite of the japanese welcoming culture ??

Best sushi in the konstanz area. After living in Japan I always try to find good quality sushi and that's not a task that is easily fulfilled. Tatsumi delivers both quality and taste, but the price is not low, but it's fair. Even the small and crowded place reminds me of the real Japanese restaurants. Yes it's crowded, so if your are just going there spontaneously, forget it...you need reservations. Totally worth a visit.

Worth the price. Nice customer service. It’s better to reserve beforehand cos the place gets a lot of customers even on weekdays. The chefs are Japanese so you can trust them with the food to taste like the real Japanese food.

Everyone who thought he had good sushi was never here. Always freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. A reservation is a must, as the shop is always full and not very big. But the atmosphere is pretty authentic and the staff super friendly. Prices are a bit high for German sushi, but who really wants good quality, the price paid very happy. Worth every euro.

Cozy sushi bar in Constance. We ordered the dish of the day which was excellent as always. The Tatsumi Plate is a favourite of ours.
